2003-2008 Portfolio Favorites
A glimpse of my mixed-media drawing, illustration, and collage. When I started showing my art in 2001, I decided to call all my work "Spirit Portraits." But because I now also offer a service called "Inner Portraits," it seems to cause some confusion, so the original "Spirit Portraits" title for my work is taking a back seat for now. Live Events / Performance Drawing
I create jumbo-sized, improvised works on paper at lively events where there's an audience. Some folks call this "performance painting" but I draw more than I paint. I do these alone, or with artist friends. I've done it in: A gallery at our group art opening, onstage during a dance performance, at a benefit event with live music and dancing in a ballroom, at a private birthday celebration, and at a dance party... I LOVE doing these!
